St. Angelo's History
Since 1981, St. Angelo's Pizza with its roots originating from Buffalo, New York, has been serving quality pizza, chicken wings, Italian dinners, salads, soups and burgers over 22 years.
Owner and operator Brian Griffin hails from Tonawanda, New York, and worked as a teen at the St. Angelo's restaurant in Niagara Falls, New York. He brought his entrepreneurial skills, and eager partner Mark Donahue, to Pasco County in 81' to open a small pizza shop. There are several St. Angelo's pizza shops throughout the eastern seaboard that were inspired by employees from the New York stores. One of the original stores is still on Grand Island Blvd. in Buffalo, one in north Carolina, and during the really prosperous times, Brian owned four stores here in Florida. Originally, he employed only a handful of people. As of this date, the business has employed over 200 people from the Elfers, New Port Richey, Hudson, Holiday, and Spring Hill area. Gulf High School has supplied Brian with some of his most faithful employees, and he returns the favor by supporting many of the programs at GHS, including the Buccaneer Football team. Brian believes in supporting the community, using his business to help people raise their own families, while feeding the surrounding areas with high quality foods. Buffalo style chicken wings and thick, delicious pizza, were the original staples to a successful business. After the early 90's, Brian set out to continue the business without Mark, and has grown the business ever since. Brian, Kathy (wife), Matthew (son), and Justine (daughter) all supported and helped strengthen the business by lending a hand whenever needed, including filling in for sick workers, taking extra deliveries, and waitressing. We are sure that you will enjoy our fresh pizza and original style chicken wings, and other Buffalo favorites at our family owned St. Angelo's Pizza and Wings! revised 5/31/2018 |
